Allow me to properly introduce myself…
I’m Morgan. I’m 28 years young and currently live in country South Australia. I’ve been married for nearly seven years to the most giving, supportive and witty man I know. When I married my hubby it was a package deal, and I scored two amazing step children. They have brought sunshine and laughter into my life in abundance.
I also have a little girl who is the delight of my life. She has shown me what it means to love wholeheartedly and unconditionally and it’s fair to say it was love at first sight. If you want to read more about me and my story click here.
I believe that we teach what we most need to learn. In my case that’s self love. It’s a biggie. My passion is supporting women on their own journey of discovering who they are, and then falling head over heels in love with themselves. I want you to know that you don’t have to do this alone, if you want to learn more you can check out my coaching packages here. You are worthy of all your dreams and desires, and if a lack of self love is blocking or sabotaging you, now is the time to start doing something about it. It doesn’t have to be hard or heavy. I believe learning to accept, love and care for ourselves can be fun and filled with joy.

One thing I know for sure is that there is a lesson in everything. So without further ado…
Here’s the top 3 lessons I learnt from creating and launching this website.
1. Everything always takes longer than planned.
I think it must be an Universal law because no matter how long I think something will take, it always takes longer. It didn’t matter how many deadlines and timeframes I had, things would pop up that were out of my control. I guess this is also a lesson in acceptance.
I decided half way through to actually scrap all deadlines altogether. Drastic maybe, but it was oh so freeing. I was putting un-needed stress on myself and nobody needs that.
When in doubt – Trust in Divine Timing.
(It hasn’t let me down once)
2. Resistance VS fear VS life
Don’t take all obstacles, road blocks and dead ends as a sign it’s not right and you shouldn’t continue.
Over the past few months I’ve had health, financial and family things happen. The old me would have thought “This is a sign. I shouldn’t do this.” Which can be easily translated to “I’m scared. Give me an excuse to stop.”
I know now that each hurdle isn’t a reason to stop. I now take it as an opportunity to ask myself “How badly do I want this?” And once I was able to say confidently and courageously, “A lot. This is my purpose and passion.” It was so much easier to move forward.
Of course, if things pop up and your body is screaming “Don’t do it.” Or you’ve truly lost the excitement, passion and joy you had at the beginning. It’s 100% okay to not finish, and instead focus your time and attention on something that feels better.
It all comes down to this – Trust Your Intuition.
3. Enjoy the Process
Because – why the hell not?
I couldn’t sum it up better than Danielle Laporte “The journey has to feel the way you want the destination to feel.”
I decided long back to take my core desired feelings into the whole process. Not only did that make it a lot more fun, it also gave me clarity.
It’s what helped me decide to scrap the restricting deadlines (‘Freedom’), and ‘Inspired’ gave me permission to clear my schedule when inspiration came knocking. ‘Connection’ made me stay anchored in my why, reason and purpose. And ‘Playful’ made me let go of the “shoulds” and embrace days away from the computer, weekends with the family and dance breaks in-between clients.
And lastly, ‘Love.’ It all comes down to love. Love what you do. Love what you make. Love who you work with. Love the process. And most importantly, love yourself. Which means not sacrificing your self care for a deadline.
From here on you can expect posts on all things Self. Self love, acceptance, forgiveness, confidence… you get the idea.
I would love for you to stick around and take on what resonates with you. Everything I share are things that have helped me and my clients grow our self love and my hope is that it may shift something within you too and you will begin this never ending journey of loving yourself. And trust me, it’s a journey worth taking.
