We all have dreams. But did you know we also have the power to make them a reality? Something I’ve found that has not only helped me get clear on my dreams and visualise them but actually manifest them into reality is a Vision Board.
To be honest, I’m totally obsessed with them. Mainly because they work, but also because they’re fun to do and pretty to look at. I’m currently in the process of updating my “goals” board because I have accomplished my dreams 6 months ahead of what I predicted!
How to make a Vision Board
♥ First clear space. Not only physically (some of them are bloody huge) but also mentally. This is not a time to play small. This is a new beginning, a fresh start, a blank canvas (quite literally) where anything you dream can be achieved. Don’t be modest, don’t shrink and please don’t be rational or reasonable!
♥ Next it’s time to set up the area to get your creative juices flowing. To me that’s lighting a candle, putting on my favourite tunes, and grabbing a crystal or two.
♥ Now, right down everything you desire. Write without judgement or editing your dreams. A Chanel bag? Freedom? Abundance? Travel to Paris? Get clear on exactly what you want.
Now search google images, Pinterest, magazines. Print and start glueing.
Make it pretty. It’s there to inspire you!
♥ Now you’re ready to put it in a place where you will see it everyday.
Spend time looking over it, reading the quotes. Visualise your dreams coming true.
There’s no right or wrong when it comes to making a vision board. You can make one big one or break it down for each area of your life (love, work, goals etc). Every time I sit down to make one it changes, depending on what I need at that time.
A Vision Board is there to serve you (and communicate with the Universe exactly what you desire) so have fun with it, and do what feels right for you!
